CFP Certified Financial Planner Board of Standards Inc. (CFP Board) establishes and enforces education, examination, experience and ethics requirements for CFP® certificants.

AICPA is a registered CE sponsor with the CFP Board. All registered CE sponsors are required to electronically report CE credits earned by CFP® certificants directly to the CFP Board, effective January 1st, 2006.

Providing your CFP Board ID Number to AICPA permits us to report your qualifying CE credits to the CFP Board. If you do not wish for AICPA to report on your behalf, you may choose not to provide your ID Number.

Certified Financial Planner Board of Standards Inc. owns the certification mark CFP® in the U.S., which it awards to individuals who successfully complete CFP Board’s initial and ongoing certification requirements.
